Chief Operating Officer – Terry Opgenorth, PhD has served as COO since joining CSU Ventures™ in 2007, and the inception of NeoTREX™. Prior to joining CSU Ventures, Dr. Opgenorth retired from Abbott Laboratories after an accomplished 20 year career in the Drug Discovery arm of Abbott Pharma’s Global Research and Development organization. Most recently, he served as Divisional Vice President of Metabolic Disease Research, Antiviral Research and Target-Lead Discovery Research. Dr. Opgenorth holds a BA in Biology from Calvin College and MS and PhD degrees in Physiology from University of Illinois-Urbana.

| Barry J Beaty, PhD – CSO |

Dr. Beaty is the Chief Scientific Officer of MicroRx and the Director of the Infectious Disease Supercluster. He is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He is internationally recognized for his research involving the diagnosis, prevention (vaccines and therapeutics), and control (therapeutics) of mosquito and rodent borne diseases, such as dengue, yellow fever, West Nile fever, LaCrosse encephalitis, and Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. His research and training programs have been funded by the World Health Organization, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control, Department of Defense, and the USDA. Major research programs from the MacArthur Foundation and now the Gates Foundation have focused upon development of new approaches, insecticides, and interventions to control vectors of diseases themselves, thereby preventing human infections. |

Todd Headley serves as Director of Business Development for MicroRx and has been with the organization since March 2007. Previous to joining MicroRx, Mr. Headley spent six years in technology transfer and commercialization roles at the Iowa State University Research Foundation and most recently held the position of Director of Licensing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNeMed). Prior to his university experience, he worked for ten years within business units of Wyeth and Schering-Plough primarily focused on the manufacturing and development of vaccines. Mr. Headley holds a BS degree from South Dakota State University and an MBA from Iowa State University. He also serves as Associate Director of the Technology Transfer Office within CSU Ventures. |
