Chief Operating Officer - Joe Guiles, PhD, joined MicroRx in January 2009. Prior to joining CSU Ventures, Dr. Guiles has worked within the Pharma/Biotech sector for 18 years holding both research and director of research positions. His past employers include Aventis, Johnson & Johnson, Sterling Winthrop and most recently Replidyne Inc. He has numerous publications and presentations and has been a member of both scientific advisory boards and editorial boards. Joe’s current research interests center on chemical biology and medicinal chemistry in the areas of infectious disease and cancer. Dr. Guiles holds a BS in Chemistry from University of Massachusetts and PhD in Chemistry from Colorado State University.

| Rodman Tompkins, MS - Business Development Associate |

Rodman Tompkins serves as Business Development Associate for MicroRx and has been with the organization since October 2008. Previous to joining MicroRx, Mr. Tompkins spent two years as a private biotechnology consultant, focusing primarily on writing SBIR and STTR proposals. Mr. Tompkins holds BS degrees in Neuroscience and Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University; and MS degrees in Anatomy & Neurobiology and Microbiology, Immunology, & Pathology from Colorado State University. He also serves as the Intellectual Property Chair within the RMRCE. |
